The georgeous Mistress Miranda came to professional domination through her work in dance and film. Her orientation toward creative work that is physical, dramatic, and visual predisposed her to the costuming, narratives, and demanding activities of BDSM. The collaborative effort of dance and film translate well into the negotiation of a scene in which both the dominant and submissive must be satisfied and deeply engaged.

Much of Miranda's style derives from her childhood interests and experiences. She played many games involving bondage and humiliation, such as forced cross-dressing and "truth or dare".
