Kenji has been a professional photographer since 1980, working primarily in fashion, portrait, and advertising. His work has been published internationally. He has photographed many supermodels including Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, Claudia Schiffer, Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, Vendela and Veronica Webb among others. Some of the celebrities he's photographed are Elizabeth Taylor, Sharon Stone, Tina Turner, Joely Fisher, Magic Johnson, Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Steve young, Fabio and others he can't think to name. Kenji, by admission, has never pursued the SM/BD lifestyle but he delights in its imagery.

"I'm very much a visually oriented individual and often have a predetermined vision of a subject before I even enter the studio. That vision usually evolves as I work and interact with each individual. Photography of people is very much a voyeuristic pursuit, so if I have any identifiable fetishes it would most likely be voyeurism."

"I appreciate the fantasy and power that fetish fashion represents. The clothing and accouterment have the ability to not only transform the individual visually but emotional and psychologically as well. The Individual 'become' the clothes...I enjoy capturing the transformation and recording that fantasy. That can be an emotional 'evolution' for the individual, much as my straight portrait work evolves visually for me as I interact with my subjects. With fetish fashion the transformation is often drastic and the resulting beauty and power that exudes from these subjects I find very seductive and alluring. I love to capture that visually. It's very satisfying to produce an erotic image that not only appeals to the photographer and model but to the viewers of that image as well. That is my ultimate goal and one of the things that simply make me smile."
