A Social and Educational Resource For People With Fetish and Fantasy Interests

BackDrop Club started in the Bay Area more than thirty five years ago. It was created to be the "props and scenery behind everybody's fantasies", and it's still going strong today, offering novice and experienced player alike a wealth of options.

BackDrop hosts a wide range of classes and social events, including Leather and Lace fashion shows, slave auctions, theme parties, and special interest gatherings. Workshops and demonstrations reveal new ways to meet people of like interests, teach safe play techniques, show people on a budget how to make or buy inexpensive toys and equipment, and more.

For those who wish to explore their fantasies in private sessions, a well-trained and talented professional staff is available. The club's large playrooms provide a realistic "dungeon" environment, with some very impressive furnishings and equipment.

The club has an extensive library of books, magazines, and videos; it publishes a monthly newsletter ("Party-Lines") and a quarterly magazine ("Common Bonds").

For the traveler, BackDrop also publishes an international resource list of fetish and fantasy friendly businesses, nightclubs, social groups and individuals. And for the electronic traveler, there is a computerized Bulletin Board Service and InterNet connections.
